All candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Private Staff, Superyacht, or PA roles.

Required Documentation:

  • Valid passport
  • Driving licence (if applicable)
  • A minimum of 2 verifiable references
  • Updated CV (Word format preferred)
  • Valid Enhanced DBS Check (for childcare roles)
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (for childcare roles)
  • Professional candidate photograph & copies of relevant qualifications

Additional Requirements:

  • Chefs: A portfolio or food images must also be submitted.

If needed, the agency can assist in arranging a DBS Check, which is typically processed and issued within 7 days.

Luxurious PH Services requires all registered childcare candidates to hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate. We have partnered with a trusted DBS provider (Disclosure & Barring Service) to process both Basic and Enhanced DBS checks for our candidates.

Please note that Enhanced DBS certificates are only available to individuals working with vulnerable groups. Therefore, only candidates applying for childcare positions are eligible for an Enhanced DBS. Typically, a DBS certificate is issued within 7 days.

Yes, we will support you throughout the entire recruitment process, including during your probationary period after you’ve been placed in a role.

All discussions related to salary negotiations, working hours, start date, and more will be managed by our agency after we have reviewed your expectations with you.

It’s not always feasible to attend in-person interviews, especially if you are based overseas. Our general protocol requires candidates within 2 hours of London to attend a face-to-face registration interview.

Travel Information: Registration interviews take place in Chelsea. The closest tube stations are Sloane Square and South Kensington (District & Circle lines). For those traveling by train, the nearest overground station is London Victoria. Please note that parking in the area is expensive, so we recommend using public transport where possible.

Coronavirus Update: To reduce candidates’ use of public transport, all registration interviews will be conducted virtually via video call until further notice.

Arranging a client interview while you’re currently employed can be challenging. For some private household roles, such as nanny positions, the interview host might be flexible and agree to meet before or after your workday, or even in the evening or on weekends. This is often preferred when the client wants to observe how you interact with their children as part of the interview process.

For Corporate or Executive Assistant positions, scheduling interviews might be more complex. However, some interview hosts may be willing to accommodate by meeting early in the morning or staying late to fit your availability.

A client can occasionally request that you complete a short trial before offering you a position. Typically trials are only necessary for housekeeping and childcare positions. The agency caps the length of trials at a maximum duration of 2 weeks.

To keep your registration with us active, you must hold a valid and up-to-date passport. Please ensure you email a copy of any renewed ID documents as soon as they are issued.

Recruitment industry regulations are enforced by the Employment Agencies Standards Inspectorate (EAS). To comply with these regulations, we require a minimum of 2 references as part of your registration. Once verified, these references will be recorded in your file on our database.

Rest assured, we will contact each reference only once and will not repeatedly pursue them. References from your current role will not be checked until you have a job offer. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount, and we will always consult with you before reaching out to your references.

We recommend processing household staff payroll through a dedicated payroll service such as StaffTax or NannyTax.

For corporate staff, including Executive Assistants, employment will be managed directly through the organization.

Self-employed candidates are responsible for their own tax returns. Our preferred accountancy firm for self-employed individuals is The Accountancy Partnership.

The Staff Directory provides an introductory service and does not issue contracts. However, the agency will provide you with an offer letter detailing all standard information, including salary, place of work, and start date.

It is the employer’s responsibility to provide a formal contract of employment where applicable.

All candidates applying for UK-based positions must already have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot assist with working visa applications or sponsor candidates.

For international roles, UK settlement status is not required.

Typically, an employer will cover standard utilities, including council tax and energy bills. Occasionally, they may also provide coverage for phone lines and internet services.

The minimum statutory annual leave entitlement for full-time employees is 28 days (5.6 weeks), which includes 20 days plus 8 public holidays. Employers may choose to offer more than this minimum.

For part-time employees, holiday entitlement is calculated on a pro-rata basis. This applies only to permanent part-time positions and does not apply to self-employed individuals.

Please review your contract to determine the length of your notice period in case your role is terminated.

Typically, notice periods range from 1 week to 1 month, but they can be up to 3 months. Some employers may require you to work through your notice period, while others may not.

  • Create a Chef Portfolio: Conducted by a professional food photographer and chef, focusing on building a professional chef portfolio.
  • Catering for Special Diets: Basic training on special diets such as gluten-free, paleo, keto, kosher, vegan, and vegetarian, ideal for chalet staff or junior chefs.
